Valencia tried their best to refute Vinicius’s claims to cover up their moral corruption

In his statement before Valencia’s number 10 investigating court, Vinicius Junior, a player for Real Madrid, was charged by Valencia of lying about what happened during the team’s May 21 visit to Mestalla. The Mestalla club requests that the football player correct the version he provided during the videoconference in court this Thursday, October 5, through an official statement. “Falsehoods and unfounded lies cannot combat racism; it has no place in football or in society.Valencia answers, “Yes”.

When it became known that Vinicius had claimed in his court appearance that the racial taunts he had experienced at Mestalla were not specific, Valencia responded with great vigor.

Valencia actually starts their statement by clarifying that Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of Madrid, made a similar mistake of interpretation when he claimed in the press room following the game that “the entire stadium” had yelled those racial slurs. The club, represented by its corporate director Javier Solís, made a public appearance the same evening of the game to call for the correction of this incorrect judgement.

The Italian coach did, in fact, correct his first version when making his first public appearance two days later. “They accused me of not being “monkey, monkey” but “silly, foolish” and can that be said?” the technician asked.

The Club would like to express its surprise, rejection, and outrage at the information that has been made public regarding the football player Vinícius Jr.’s alleged statement made in court, according to which he was insulted racially by the entire Mestalla stadium during the Valencia CF vs. Real Madrid CF match last season.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti himself stated that the actions cannot in any way be applied to the full Mestalla stadium.

The severity of this issue is clearly understood by the Club. Falsehoods and baseless accusations are ineffective in combating racism, which has no place in either football or society. Everyone must be involved in this matter, and Valencia CF is aware that in these kinds of protests, meticulous precision and responsibility are necessary.

Valencia CF requests that Vinicius Jr. officially retract his purported statement from this morning, arguing that the fans cannot be categorized as racist.
