Chelsea makes contact with Theo Hernandez

Chelsea’s ambitious transformation in the world of football shows no signs of slowing down, and the latest name on their radar is Theo Hernandez.

Theo Hernandez currently serves as the vice-captain for AC Milan and wields considerable influence. He is also a regular starter for the French national team, heading into EURO 2024.

Chelsea has been grappling with issues on the left wing. Cucurella has long been excluded from the team’s plans, while Ben Chilwell’s form has declined to the extent that Mauricio Pochettino recently turned to the young defender Levi Colwill, who typically plays in the center-back position.

Coach Pochettino has held discussions with President Todd Boehly and Director of Football David Barnard about the possibility of acquiring Theo Hernandez.

Chelsea is prepared to invest approximately 70-80 million euros to secure Theo Hernandez from Milan, a figure similar to what Newcastle paid for Sandro Tonali.
