The PFA has reportedly contacted Man United and offered their help to resolve the dispute between Erik ten Hag and Jadon Sancho

According to reports, the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) has made contact with Manchester United in an effort to “assist in resolving the disagreement” between Jadon Sancho and Erik ten Hag.

The persistent disagreement between the 23-year-old player and the Dutch manager resulted in the player being barred from using any of the facilities intended for the first squad at the training field of the club on Monday.

The Premier Football Association has reportedly “contacted the club and Sancho to try to help the two me𝚗 settle their differences,” as reported by The Times.

However, the site claims that “there has been no resolution,” leading some to question whether or not the right-winger would be included in the Manchester United squad to play Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup on Tuesday at Old Trafford. The match will take place at Old Trafford.

Their disagreement started after the Dutch coach stated that Sancho’s exclusion from United’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal was due to the winger’s ‘performances in training.’

It sparked a response from the England forward, who claimed in a message on social media that has since been deleted that he was ‘being made a scapegoat’ because of it.

‘I have conducted myself in training really well this week,’ he posted on X, which was once known as Twitter. ‘I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!’ he added.

Ten Hag was going to have conversations with Sancho in order to clear the air, and Mail Sport revealed that Man United football director football John Murtough and CEO Richard Arnold had taken an active role in trying to mend the split. Ten Hag was going to hold conversations with Sancho in order to clear the air.

But after that, the management decided to kιck Sancho out of first-team training and told the winger to train by himself. This decision came after Sancho was seen watching Man United’s Under-18 squad play.

In addition, he did not play in their 1-0 victory against Burnley at the weekend. Ten Hag, who is known for his tough stance on discipline and who famously cut Cristiano Ronaldo from the team after the two had a falling out in 2022, is waiting for an apology from Sancho before he will accept him back into the fold.

However, the winger is not going to move from his position, and he is not thrilled about being barred from using the facilities used by the club’s first team.

It was also alleged by Mail Sport that the winger had arrived late to training on multiple occasions and did not live up to the expectations set by the Dutchman.

Due to Sancho’s banishment, Ten Hag only has one right winger available to them right now, and that is Facundo Pellistri.

Amad Diallo has been unable to play for Manchester United since the beginning of the season due to an ιnjury he sustained during the club’s preseason. In the meantime, Antony is taking a leave of absence from his job in the midst of ongoing claims of domestic abuse.

Mason Mount, who is 24 years old and is getting close to returning from an ιnjury, has had a lot of success playing on the wing while he was at Chestnut Hill, so it is possible that the former Chestnut Hill player could be an alternative to play on the wing.
