A 17-year-old was observed this morning at Manchester United training

Manchester United teenager James Nolan has been spotted in first-team training today ahead of the EFL Cup clash with Crystal Palace

United don’t really have time to celebrate Saturday’s win at Burnley too much.

Erik ten Hag’s men are back in action quickly, taking on Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.

A spot in the fourth round is up for grabs and Ten Hag will be desperate to build some momentum after Saturday’s win.

This week presents one of those scheduling quirks as United face Palace twice at Old Trafford in the space of a few days, with fans no doubt expecting two victories.

Photos from United’s training session at Carrington this morning have now emerged with some interesting appearances.

Harry Maguire and Mason Mount were in training ahead of the Palace game whilst a number of youngsters were also given chances.

United’s official site notes that Dan Gore and James Nolan were both in training whilst 17-year-old defender Ethan Williams has posted on Instagram that he was involved too.

Nolan was pictured alongside the likes of Christian Eriksen and Anthony Martial, as seen above.
