Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat is believed to be in line to make his Manchester United debut this weekend, as the Red Devils prepare to face Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.
The 27-year-old was one of his nation’s star players at the 2022 World Cup, prompting interest from some of the biggest clubs in the world in the process.
Ultimately joining United on-loan from Fiorentina ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, Amrabat was made to wait for his Red Devils debut, owing to a back fracture injury.
Now though, United manager Erik Ten Hag has said that Amrabat has been in training this past week and suggested that the Moroccan could have a part in his side’s plans for the tie against Burnley.
“We will see better after training [on Friday afternoon]. But Varane will train and we will see. Amrabat, he will train and we will see. Mount, as well, but they all didn’t play for a short or longer term,” Ten Hag said, as per the United official website.
