United received extremely good news from two pillars, ready beat Burnley

According to ESPN sources, Mount and Varane have returned to training after being sidelined due to injury.

But the duo is not physically fit enough to accompany the team on their trip to Germany to meet Bayern Munich in the Champions League in midweek.

But Mount and Varane could be in the squad for the match against Burnley at Turf Moor this weekend if they go through their final training session on Friday without any problems.

United’s squad stayed in Munich overnight and trained at Bayern’s academy on Thursday before flying back to Manchester. Ten Hag is currently missing 12 first-team players in the match against Bayern due to injuries and other problems. He was forced to register 3 goalkeepers on the bench at Allianz Arena.

Having Mount and Varane back against Burnley will be a big boost for the Red Devils, but there are concerns that two other injured players, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, could be out for a long time.

Shaw has not played since the 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in August because of a muscle problem. According to a source, he will not be able to return before the FIFA Days holiday in November, which is at least two months away.

Wan-Bissaka could also face a similar situation after suffering a hamstring injury against Brighton. MU has confirmed that the defender will be absent for “a few weeks” but could be more than two months.

MU faces Burnley after a series of 3 consecutive defeats in all competitions. They have lost 4 out of 6 matches this season. Ten Hag teachers and students have conceded 12 goals in the last 4 matches, of which the last 3 matches have conceded at least 3 goals.
