Manchester United’s goalkeeper Andre Onana takes full responsibility for his disastrous gaffe against Bayern Munich

Andre Onana, the goalie for Manchester United, conceded defeat after committing a blunder in tonight’s 4-3 loss to Bayern Munich.

Early on in their Champions League comeback, the Red Devils looked sharp. Onana made a terrible error that completely derailed their promising start.

A poor shot from Leroy Sane was able to get past Onana, giving Bayern the lead they needed.

He admitted fault in an interview with TNT Sports after the game.

Quote: “It’s difficult to lose this way because I feel in the beginning, we started very good,” as reported by ManUtd.com. As a result of my error, we started to lose the game.

It’s a tough spot for everyone involved, but I feel especially responsible for the team’s failure. However, the team was excellent, and I blame myself for the loss.

“If we lost today, it’s because of me; such is the lot of a goalkeeper.

They failed to make any openings. The team lost because I messed up the first shot on goal, even though it was probably the keeper’s fault.

Now I just have to pick myself up, buck up, and keep going. It’s a tough circumstance to be in.

I’m proud of how hard the team fought and how close they came to victory, but ultimately we lost due of my mistakes.

“I have to accept the responsibility for the fact that we lost the game,”

Andre Onana has had a rough start in Manchester.

David De Gea has been a mainstay in goal for the better part of a decade. Andre Onana’s task of taking his place was an uphill one from the start.

Onana is under a lot of strеss because his English experience has gotten off to a shaky start.

Man United have not lost consecutive games with three or more goals surrendered since 1978.

His early gaffe allowed Bayern to score first, swinging the game in their favor.

Previously, the Red Devils had surprise beaten the German powerhouses at home. They had three corner kicks in the opening eight minutes.

Bayern scored twice more thanks to errors by Onana. He didn’t even try to prevent Serge Gnabry’s shot by diving out of the way.

In the last seconds of regulation, Mathys Tel scored the game-winning goal with a powerful shot that beаt Onana. The goalie’s delayed response was unacceptable.

The 27-year-old has shown excellent skills in passing the ball to teammates. His steadying influence in the back allows Erik ten Hag’s strategy to unfold with minimal disruption.

His ability to block shots, though, is questionable. In six appearances, he has kept only one clean sheet for the Red Devils.
