Chelsea final decision on Nicolas Jackson

Chelsea just experienced a weak 0-0 draw at Bournemouth. After 5 rounds, West London Club has only earned 5 points.

The ungainliness of the players on the attack caused the home team at Stamford Bridge to face many difficulties.

Notably, Nicolas Jackson has only scored 1 goal against Luton Town. Compared to Didier Drogba, the former Villarreal player has not been able to meet the expectations of fans and Chelsea coaching staff.

However, the Blues have no intention of looking for a replacement for Nicolas Jackson in the 2024 winter transfer window. According to writer Fabrizio Romano, the West London club wants to wait at least 2 more months to consider their next plan.

The Italian journalist added that coach Mauricio Pochettino believes in Nicolas Jackson’s talent. In addition, the return of Christopher Nkunku is seen as the key to helping the 22-year-old striker regain his form.

Before the 2023/24 season started, Nicolas Jackson appeared to have a good understanding with Christopher Nkunku in attack. However, Chelsea’s rookie suddenly got injured and was still unable to make his official debut for the new team.

Sources from Sky Sports revealed that Chelsea and Arsenal both have special interest in Ivan Toney. However, Brentford has no intention of letting their number one striker leave.
