Dubai’s 7-Star Marvel: Debut of the Extravagant Burj al-Arab for the Super-Rich

The Burj al-Arab in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the pinnacle of luxury and only serves the ultra-wealthy. This opulent hotel features a helicopter, an infinity pool, and even gilded decor.

Instead of having a helicopter land on the hotel’s 212-meter-high rooftop, guests are transported there from the Dubai airport in an opulent white Rolls Royce. It’s important to note that the hotel owns the largest fleet of Rolls-Royce vehicles in the world.

The Burj al-Arab is a well-known landmark in Dubai thanks to its exterior’s unusual sail-like appearance. It was built with 250 1.5-meter-diameter concrete columns, reaching a height of 280 meters, including 45 meters below the surface of the water, and evoking the Statue of Liberty in New York, USA, and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.

A staggering 240,000 square meters of marble wall coverings, including the highly sought statuario marble from Italy, can be found inside the hotel. TV screens and other furniture measuring more than 2,043 square meters have 24-karat gold decorations. The Persian Gulf is visible from every one of the hotel’s 202 rooms.

In order to help guests navigate the hotel’s large property, which covers more than 170 square meters, butler service is available. Choosing a superior room gives you the luxury of a revolving bed surrounded by mirrors, measuring more than 780 square meters. Egyptian sheets on the king-sized mattresses and a choice of 17 different pillows provide for a comfortable night’s sleep.

The Talise Spa is the ideal getaway for relaxation, with treatment rooms that face the ocean and have large windows. Depending on their preferences, visitors can select between a brightly lighted area and a dimly lit setting. Women may purchase high-end cosmetics, and the hotel has four indoor and outdoor swimming pools, including one just for women.

The “Romantic Moonlight Swim” offers couples the chance to book a pool decorated with rose petals for a romantic evening that includes champagne and stunning views of the Persian Gulf.

The hotel has nine dining establishments, most of which specialize in European cuisine with minor Middle Eastern influences. Due to its breathtaking views and location on the 27th floor of the building, 200 meters above sea level, the Al Muntaha restaurant is a popular choice for lunch. A popular location for drinks and afternoon tea is the Sky Bar.

The Al Mahara restaurant, which has a huge fish tank with a capacity of more than 1,000 cubic meters of water in its main area, is one of the best places to eat.

The Burj al-Arab was designed with the spectacular experiences and attractions that Dubai is known for in mind. Booking a hotel here will cost you between $2,700 and $19,000 USD each night to enjoy this opulent way of life.
