Paris Saint-Germain lost 3-2 to Nice in a disappointing Ligue 1 match, and star player Kylian Mbappe got into an argument with Nice scorer Terem Moffi

Although Mbappé scored twice, PSG still suffered its first league loss under Luis Enrique, who had drawn two of his first four games in charge. On a historic evening at the Parc des Princes, Moffi was Nice’s hero by scoring twice.

The Nigerian international also assisted on teammate Gaeten Laborde’s goal just after halftime, and Mbappe appeared to lose his cool as he celebrated the visitors’ 3-1 lead in Paris. Nice center backs Dante and Jean-Clair Todibo kept Mbappe at bay, and Moffi didn’t seem phased by the Frenchman’s rage.

Veteran referee Clement Turpin tried to calm things down as play proceeded and PSG’s superstar scored a consolation goal with some fancy footwork. As a result of Moffi’s game-winning goal, Nice moved up to second place in the Ligue 1 standings, one point ahead of their Friday night opponents.

Mbappe has only played four games so far this season after starting the year on the bench for PSG in their 1-1 home opener against Lorient. The 24-year-old’s failure to activate a contract extension at the end of the previous season infuriated the management at Parc des Princes, and he is now set to become a free agent next summer.

Mbappe has been strongly linked to a move to Real Madrid, but he is committed to his current team, Paris Saint-Germain. However, the challenge at hand for the France captain is not an easy one, as Luis Enrique is under pressure to improve on results early in the new season.”I’m happy with the team’s performance, really I am,” the Spaniard, who had replaced Christophe Galtier over the summer, said on Prime Video after their loss to Nice. What have I got to complain about when you offer everything you’ve got? We have a right to development; we are aware of this; yet, my concerns are unfounded.

“It was extremely, extremely, extremely difficult against us. No one had beaten Nice. They’re a top-notch football team. We did a good job of pressing them high up the field, but they were too powerful for us. They jumped out to a lead by taking risks. We should give them our congratulations and work to becoming better.
