Chelsea and the plan to create ‘100 points super club’

Owner Todd Boehly and his colleagues have the ambition to turn Chelsea into a powerful club, capable of reaching 100 points each season.Chelsea is entering its second season under billionaire Boehly.

In the first season, the Blues failed miserably with four different coaches, before Mauricio Pochettino took charge. At the end of Premier League 2022/23, Chelsea won only 11 matches, ranking 12th overall.

However, Boehly and co-owner Behdad Eghbali aren’t too worried, as they continue to stick to their plan to build a squad capable of reaching 100 points per season. This duo is determined to turn Chelsea into a dominant force in the Premier League.

They believe that by signing today’s best young talent, Chelsea can nurture and nurture a winning culture that will result in a record-breaking team. To date, Man City is the only club to have ever reached 100 points in the Premier League, arriving in the 2017/18 season with 32 wins and exactly 2 losses.

Chelsea showed that they are investing in the future by spending more than £1 billion in just three transfer windows, to create a squad with an average age of only 23. A source told the Telegraph: “The owners constantly thinking about what that 100-point team looks like. And bringing together the right players will create that 100-point club.”
