Jadon Sancho has reportedly been sent to individual training by Manchester United, mirroring how they treated Cristiano Ronaldo. One year after penalizing Cristiano Ronaldo for his lack of discipline prior to the 38-year-old’s departure, Erik ten Hag has once again used his influence to make decisions at Carrington.Sancho is apparently on a personal training schedule separate from the main team at United after allegedly refusing to apologize to Ten Hag.

After being left out of the team for the match against Arsenal earlier this month, the No. 25 for the Red Devils essentially labelled his manager a liar on social media.

Ten Hag responded by establishing the legislation, and this isn’t the first time since he arrived in M16 last year that he’s had to do so.

After rushing down the tunnel and departing Old Trafford early after United’s 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur last October, Ronaldo was subjected to an uncannily similar disciplinary procedure.

After growing resentful of Ten Hag, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner burned his bridges in a public interview with Piers Morgan a month later, which ultimately resulted in his release.

Ronaldo’s future was cast into doubt when Ten Hag held showdown talks with him following his behavior against Tottenham and then left him out of the United team to face Chelsea.Sancho is currently in the same predicament after standing his ground because he felt that, ever since his £73 million transfer to United in 2021, he had been the victim of double standards.

Old Trafford legend Dimitar Berbatov, though, has criticized the 23-year-old winger’s actions, saying he acts as though he is more significant than he actually is.

I won’t be shocked if Sancho finds it difficult to play for United from this point forward, Berbatov told Betfair.

“Players occasionally believe that when they speak in public, they have the power to change things. Actually, they just worsen the situation.I didn’t like what transpired in this instance, and Sancho ought to have approached Erik ten Hag one-on-one and had a direct conversation with him. At this point, anything can happen.

“It will be simpler for the manager to forgive you, keep you around, and keep giving you another chance if he likes you as a player, even if you make mistakes along the way

“The scenario gets tricky if he doesn’t like you. To rejoin the squad, you’ll have to put in even more effort.

Jadon Sancho would have been fired if he had committed this offense under Sir Alex Ferguson’s leadership because the team comes first.
