Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker has urged Erik ten Hag to use Facundo Pellistri instead of Alejandro Garnacho against Brighton.
Ten Hag is currently having a headache in making a choice ahead of Man United’s home match against Brighton, with both Jadon Sancho and Antony not in his plans at the moment. Parker said Pellistri was a workaholic who always created something from nothing.
Parker told MyBettingSites: “I would pick Pellistri over Garnacho on the right wing. I think Garnacho has done well coming off the bench but at the moment I see him as a player who can make an impact .”
“Pellistri has something. He has the willingness and desire to play. He makes something out of nothing and he is a workaholic.”The former player added: “If he plays on the right wing against [Aaron] Wan Bissaka, I think Manchester United have a right-wing of hard-working players who will play very well when they don’t have the ball.”
Pellistri joined Man United from Penarol for nearly £9 million in 2020. The 21-year-old winger made his first-team debut for Man United last season, providing one assist in 232 minutes of play in 12 games. appearances for the Red Devils.
