Rasmus Hojlund not in Man Utd Premier League squad – but there’s a reason for it

Rasmus Hojlund may not have made Manchester United’s 25-man Premier League roster, but he is still eligible to participate in the league.

Before the international break, in their loss at Arsenal, the Denmark star made his club debut as Erik ten Hag once more expressed his high expectations for the youthful forward.

He has been included to the list of candidates who don’t need to be included in the 25 because he is only 20 years old and, more importantly, was born before January 1, 2002.

In addition to Jadon Sancho, Hojlund is joined on that additional selection by players like Alejandro Garnacho, Amad Diallo, and Hannibal Mejbri.

Due to a significant club shop blunder, Man Utd was unable to sell Rasmus Hojlund shirts for a month.

In addition to the minimum need of seven homegrown players, United has nominated nine of them, includi

ng three goalkeepers in Andre Onana, Tom Heaton, and Altay Bayindir.

The defenders are: Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia, Sergio Reguilon, Diogo Dalot, and Jonny Evans.

Sofyan Amrabat, Mason Mount, Bruno Fernandez, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, Donny van de Beek, and Scott McTominay have all been selected for the midfield.

Where will Man Utd supporters place this season in the Premier League? Comment below and let us know.

Facundo Pellistri, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Sancho are the named forwards.

All six summer acquisitions are included on the list, including Reguilon and Amrabat who came on loans from Tottenham and Fiorentina, respectively.

Following Hojlund’s departure from Atalanta, where he scored 10 goals in his lone season with the club, Ten Hag had high expectations for him.The young man was thoroughly scouted, according to the Dutchman. He’s been acting and feeling great this week. He is obviously highly motivated to begin and join the team.

He can’t wait, and I believe that waiting for his debut was the right decision. Of course, I would have preferred it if it had happened from the first game, but that wasn’t the case.

But now that he is healthy, we are pleased because he will undoubtedly improve the team and have a positive effect.
