Rasmus Hojlund of Manchester United is already among the top five players for one important metric despite only having played 23 minutes of football for his new team.
Prior to the international break, the Dane came off the bench in United’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal and displayed some great touches and movements during his brief cameo.
Alejandro Garnacho appeared to have scored the game-winning goal with a flicked pass that Hojlund was instrumental in setting up, but VAR disallowed the goal.
The 20-year-old, who joined the team in August, is currently serving with Denmark on international duty as he gets back to full fitness.
Given his height, Hojlund is recognized for his strength and aerial prowess, but his movement is also one of his main assets.
And in one metric, he has already risen to the top five in the Premier League.
Hojlund is ranked sixth among the players with the season’s quickest top speeds according to the Premier League website.
In the Arsenal match, he reached a high speed of 35.45 km/h, placing fourth overall behind three other players.Adama Traore of Fulham is in fourth place with a speed of 35.55 km/h, Anthony Gordon of Newcastle is in third and second with speeds of 35.63 km/h against Aston Villa and 35.67 km/h against Manchester City, respectively.
Dominic Solanke of Bournemouth, who ran against Tottenham last month with a speed of 36.10 kilometers per hour, is currently in first place.
“We have some thrilling games coming up. I’m particularly excited about our next matches against Bayern Munich in the following midweek and Brighton this coming weekend.
