Refusing to leave, Chelsea defender risks being “banned”

Trevor Chalobah is at risk of being suspended internally by Chelsea in the near future for refusing to move to Nottingham Forest in the recent summer market.

This summer, Chelsea brought in Axel Diasi from Monaco to fill the central defender position to compete with Trevor Chalobah. Despite signing a contract until 2028 with Chelsea, Chalobah’s future becomes uncertain.

Bayern Munich has “announced” to recruit Chalobah. Coach Tuchel wanted to bring his former student to Allianz Arena, Chalobah also wanted to leave, but Chelsea refused. The Blues just want to sell Chalobah outright to Bayern to earn 50 million pounds, instead of letting the defender move to Germany on loan.

The contract between Chalobah and Bayern could not be completed. On the last day of the summer transfer window, Nottingham Forest called Chelsea. Coach Steve Cooper’s team is willing to pay up to 30 million pounds for Chalobah, which is a price enough to satisfy Chelsea.

But at this point, it was Chalobah who refused to leave. The mature defender from Chelsea refused to join the City Ground team and this action made the Blues very angry.

According to Football London, the home team at Stamford Bridge is ready to severely punish Chalobah. Even the internal suspension until the end of the season is “hanging” over Chalobah’s head. This defender has also been informed of the punishment he must receive.

This season, Chalobah has not played any matches for Chelsea. The player born in 1999 suffered a thigh injury and has not set a return date. However, when he returned, Chalobah hardly had a chance to play.
