Isak Hansen-Aaroen is determined to seize his opportunity at Premier League giants Manchester United and follow in the footsteps of fellow talent Alejandro Garnacho.
Despite his youthful age of 19, Isak Hansen-Aaroen possesses a striking appearance, complete with peroxide blonde hair and an array of tattoos. At a glance, he might resemble Manchester United’s confident number 17, rather than a rising star awaiting his debut for the Red Devils.
However, while Isak Hansen-Aaroen seems to draw inspiration from his FA Youth Cup-winning teammate Garnacho in terms of style, he is equally eager to emulate Garnacho’s on-field success.
Garnacho’s rapid rise to prominence in Erik ten Hag’s attacking lineup last season served as a powerful example. An impressive performance in the 2-0 pre-season victory over Leeds United further bolstered Hansen-Aaroen’s hopes of making a similar impact. Ten Hag praised the young Scandinavian’s vision and skill, particularly highlighting his pinpoint through-ball that set up Noam Emeran’s opening goal.
Speaking to VG, Hansen-Aaroen expressed his contentment with his life in England, describing it as almost like home now. He recognizes the influence of Garnacho’s journey and emphasizes the importance of being ready when the opportunity arises. Hansen-Aaroen has yet to break into the senior squad at Old Trafford. Nonetheless, he remains resolute in his goal to secure first-team football, even if that means considering a loan move away from Manchester United.
When asked about potential developments, Hansen-Aaroen remains discreet, stating, “There was talk of something different, but I don’t want to say too much about it. There was some stuff, but we didn’t quite agree. You will find out in a few months.”
Regarding the possibility of a loan move, he acknowledges significant interest and suggests, “If we wanted it to be a loan, I know we could go.” He places great importance on securing first-team football and sees it as a crucial step he intends to take in the near future.
