Fabrizio Romano has mentioned that Manchester United attempted to sign Benjamin Pavard during the most recent transfer window.

After four seasons with Bayern Munich, Benjamin Pavard left this summer to join Inter Milan in quest of a fresh challenge.

Before moving from the Bundesliga to Serie A, Pavard was closely linked to Manchester United, and both organizations were keen on the midfielder.

With The United Stand, Fabrizio Romano talked about how close a transfer was to happening and how Harry Maguire’s decision to stay put an end to it.

Manchester United was intrigued by Benjamin Pavard.

Pavard, who was at the top of Manchester United’s list of prospects, took Harry Maguire’s spot, who was expected to sign with West Ham.

Romano claimed that Pavard wanted to join Manchester United.
