The Egyptian winger has previously starred in commercials for the soft drink brand in the past, featuring alongside other stars including Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba and Raheem Sterling.

A body double was used to film some of the scenes for the advert in an attempt to limit the risk of injury to Salah

Salah’s appearance in the advert comes as his recent form sees him tagged the “best player in the world” by some pundits.

The Liverpool forward was pictured wearing casual clothes as he ran down the street being chased by people on bikes and on foot.

It is understood that as many as 50 extras were use to shoot the scenes, with production causing the closure of a road in the Duke Street area of Liverpool.

Salah attended the shoot on Thursday with his agent Ramy Abbas Issa
