Following his recent dispute with Erik ten Hag, Borussia Dortmund is apparently considering a reconciliation with Jadon Sancho, according to the Daily Mail.
Sancho was left off the matchday squad for Manchester United’s match against Arsenal last weekend, despite the fact that the youngster was free of any bans or injuries.
After the game, when asked about the selection, Ten Hag responded, “On his performance in training we didn’t select him. At Manchester United, you have to perform at a certain level every day. He wasn’t chosen for this game because the front line is where decisions are made.
Sancho then decided to stand up for himself and refute his manager’s allegations in a written letter posted on social media.
Ten Hag won’t have taken Sancho’s response well at all, but the two may hold open discussions to ease the tension before a vital stretch of games. As a result, fans are left wondering where the winger will fit in the lineup when club football resumes next week.
Dortmund wants to bring Sancho back.If they don’t, Sancho may have a way out when the winter transfer window opens if he keeps getting benched from games.
Sancho, 23, has never been able to match the brilliant form he demonstrated in Germany and may view the possibility of going back to Dortmund as an opportunity to revitalize his career.
According to The Sun, if United makes the Englishman available in January, the Bundesliga team is eager to bring him back to Signal Iduna Park.
