Endo, who has made three appearances under Jurgen Klopp this season, completed 88% of his passes, made four successful tackles, recovered the ball six times, completed 35/40 passes, 3/5 times to swing the long ball accurately, 7/13 times to win duels. Obviously, Endo’s understanding of German football as well as his match experience helped this player have an extremely impressive performance.

Witnessing Endo’s performance, Liverpool fans had to admire and delight

The first person said: “It’s time for everyone to respect Endo”

“Endo could absolutely be a new Fabinho” – The second person predicted

“Look at Endo’s performance. It’s so satisfying and exciting” – Another person was excited

“Klopp probably also watched Endo play. He should trust Endo more” – A fourth person affirmed

In the 3 times Endo has played for Liverpool so far, he has only started 1 match and appeared as a substitute twice, against Bournemouth and Aston Villa. Although satisfied with the Japanese player’s efforts so far, Klopp still wants Endo to be even better:

“For Endo, this is a big step forward and a change in the way he used to play so it took a bit of time to get there but it’s no problem.

“I talked to Endo and we will solve that problem. He always tries to do everything and you can see it in training. Endo is precise like a machine.”
