PHIL FODEN has a “weird hobby” that takes up a lot of his time away from Manchester City.

Most football fans also don’t find it enjoyable.

Foden, who is only 23 years old, has had a lot of success.

He has already won two FA Cups, a Champions League, and five Premier League championships.

However, Foden enjoys going fishing on the weekends when he’s not playing football.

He acknowledges that most people don’t find it appealing, saying that when he explains it to them, some people find it “weird”.

He stated in an interview with Man City that “the odd one likes fishing, so when people find out they say, ‘What a weird sport to enjoy’.”

“They don’t get why you find it enjoyable.

“I believe it’s the ideal hobby to take a break from walking and relax.”

Along with his father, Foden began fishing.

The two have cast their lines around the UK and as far as Spain.

In fact, Foden was fishing with his grandfather when Man City won the title in 2018, thus he was not present.

The England star believes that his passion provides him a “buzz” that few other activities in life can.
