Summer signing Sofyan Amrabat withdraws from Morocco squad due to ιnjury

Sofyan Amrabat, a new midfielder for Manchester United, was injured and forced to withdrаw from the Morocco squad before the international break.

United eventually strengthened their midfield with the loan signing of Amrabat from Fiorentina for £8 million ($9.9m). It now appears that the Moroccan midfielder is hurt and will not be able to participate in international duty.

Amrabat’s examination at Carrington revealed a small back ιnjury, but United nonetheless allowed him to join the Morocco squad. The problem appears to have been a little more serious than initially imagined.United manager Erik ten Hag will be praying that Amrabat does not exacerbate the ιnjury issue at Old Trafford, which already includes the absences of Luke Shaw, Raphael Varane, and Mason Mount. The midfielder might make his United debut on September 16 against Brighton if he makes a full recovery in time.

New Manchester United signing Sofyan Amrabat pulls out of international duty with ιnjury

Just days after joining United, Amrabat was injured and forced to withdrаw from the Morocco squad for the upcoming international break.Although the nature of the ιnjury is unknown, it was rumored that he signed with the Red Devils despite suffering from a slight back issue.

This is a major setback for Erik ten Hag, who had just one day before Deadline Day acquired the 27-year-old on loan from Fiorentina.

Amrabat is now sitting on the bench alongside Mason Mount and Luke Shaw.

Coach Walid Regragui of Wydad Casablanca has called up midfielder Yahya Jabranea to replace Amrabat for Morocco’s upcoming international break matches against Liberia and Burkina Faso.

After informing Fiorentina on Deadline Day that he wаnted to depart, the former Club Brugge star was loaned to United.

His lifelong ambition has been to suit up for Manchester United in the Premier League.

Ten Hag, who was mayor of Utrecht when Amrabat first appeared there, also played a role.

After trading Fred, the Dutch coach desperately needed more players in the middle of the field.Mount was brought in from Chelsea, although he pleaded for the addition of a defender.

Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund, Jonny Evans, and Sergio Reguilon have all joined the Ten Hag squad this summer to go along with Amrabat and Mount.

Losses against Arsenal and Tottenham have made for a difficult start to the season.
