Alejandro Garnacho, a star for MU, is demonstrating how obsessed he is with superstar and former Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo.
The fantastic match between Arsenal and Manchester United took place at Emirates Stadium last Sunday night. Coach Erik ten Hag just introduced Garnacho on the field in the 84th minute, but just minutes later, he nearly gave the Red Devils the victory when he scored a goal off an assist from Aaron Ramsdale. Even though coach Ten Hag believed there was no offside scenario, VAR technology intervened and stopped the Argentine player’s goal.
At the conclusion of the 2020–21 season, when Ralf Rangnick was still the head coach, Garnacho made his varsity debut for MU. However, it wasn’t until Ten Hag’s arrival at Old Trafford last season that this 19-year-old kid truly started to gain attention. Garnacho was immediately compared to Manchester United’s new Cristiano Ronaldo.
In contrast to many of his colleagues, Garnacho, a young Argentinian talent, is a huge fan of Ronaldo rather than fellow legend Lionel Messi. Additionally, despite the fact that Ronaldo has since relocated to Saudi Arabia to play, it is clear that Garnacho is smitten with the Portuguese player.
Garnacho wore a pair of Cristiano Ronaldo’s well-known red Nike footwear in the game against Arsenal last weekend. In addition, the Portuguese superstar’s underwear with the CR7 brand was shown on Garnacho.
The Nike shoes that Garnacho wore during the game against Arsenal are similar to the ones that Ronaldo wore during the 2009 Champions League encounter in which Man United thrashed Arsenal. All three goals were scored by Ronaldo in the game at Emirates Stadium. The triumph for MU included an assist for Park Ji-sung to score the opening goal, as well as a clearing pass for Park Ji-sung to put the game away and write his name on the scoreboard.
