Pininfarina’s pure-electric hypercar Battista

When an automobile costs more than $2.5 million USD, one anticipates that nearly every aspect of it will be flawless. The Pininfarina Battista is hailed as the first luxury electric hypercar in the world and holds the distinction of being the most potent road-legal vehicle ever made in Italy, which is a significant accomplishment. The in-car music system is a significant component of Automobili Pininfarina’s goal to make the Battista a true luxury vehicle with top-notch comforts rather than merely a focus on raw performance. To give the hyper-EV an unmatched sound system, the Italian hypercar manufacturer has announced a new relationship with British luxury hi-fi brand Naim Audio. Exclusively for the Battista, NAIM has created a bespoke 1,300 watt, 10-speaker audio system.

A collaborative team of Naim and Automobili Pininfarina experts worked more than a year to conceptualize and design the Naim sound system for Battista. Super-tweeters for boosting higher frequencies, a Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer between the driver and passenger, and a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) system are all included to produce excellent in-car audio. According to the UK-based audio company, the “symmetrical speaker layout creates an auditorium-like studio effect, with incredible realism and ambiance.” The Pininfarina Battista will only be produced in Cambiano, Italy, close to Turin, in a limited quantity of 150 units. Early 2021 is when the deliveries are anticipated to start. Four motors are mounted at each wheel of the electric hypercar, which produces an amazing 1900 horsepower and 1696 lb-ft of torque. A top speed of ‘at least’ 217 mph and a 0-62 mph time of less than two seconds are claimed by Pininfarina.
