The weekend saw a Barcelona reunion in Los Angeles as Riqui Puig reconnected with a number of his former teammates.

To play LAFC in the MLS, Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba were all in town with Inter Miami.

While they were there, the group was able to greet Riqui, who was showing off on his Instagram page.

Since leaving Barca, all four players have been content with life in the United States. As Inter Miami defeated LAFC 3-1 with Alba scoring, Messi had a significant impact and picked up two more assists.

With the LA Galaxy, Riqui Puig has also been doing well. For his performance against San Jose, he just won Goal of the Matchday for the second time this season.

Greg Vanney, the team’s head coach and sports director, has recently made it apparent that they are committed to holding onto the former Barcelona midfielder.

“Riqui is here for the long haul,” he declared. He only wants to be here, and nowhere else. We will keep erecting things with and around him. That is Riqui’s foreseeable future.
