New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge Moving Up the Franchise Ranks in Home Runs

On Saturday night, the New York Yankees prevailed 5-4 over the Houston Astros.

The victory improved New York’s record to 67-69, and it was the Yankees’ second straight over the World Series champions.

The Yankees are effectively playing out the string at this point, as they are 8.5 games behind in the race for the third wild card slot. Houston is now 77-60 and 1.0 games back in the race for first place in the American League West. The second wild card position is theirs to use.

Aaron Judge Һit his 31st home run of the season in the victory. He went 1-for-4 with a home run that contributed to Yankees lore.

In Saturday night’s 5-4 win over the Astros, Aaron Judge Һit his 32nd home run of the season (in just 82 games) to bring his MLB career total to 251. Thus, he now ranks 10th on this list of franchises.

Just making the top 10 is a testament to Judge’s greatness as a player. He is averaging over 30 home runs a season in his eighth season in the majors.
