Exciting news emerged from Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, during his press conference.
According to The Independent, the new signing, Rasmus Hojlund, has had a successful week of training and is poised to make an appearance against Arsenal.
Erik ten Hag expressed his confidence in the new signing, stating, “I believe he’s prepared to start.”
Hojlund, who was acquired for £64 million from Atalanta, has not yet played a minute due to injury.
As it’s transfer deadline day, Manchester United has been active and has added two new players to the squad, both of whom are ready to face Arsenal.
One of these new additions is left-back Sergio Reguilon, although his transfer has not yet been officially confirmed. Erik ten Hag, however, has now confirmed the acquisition, saying, “He is here, yes. He is a highly experienced player, having played for prestigious clubs and accumulated significant experience in both La Liga and the Premier League. His background is quite impressive, and he’s well-suited to high-intensity football. We are delighted to have him.”
