Prior to the transfer deadline, Teden Mengi, a defender for Manchester United, is expected to sign a permanent contract with Luton Town.
Mengi reportedly had offers from both domestic and international teams, but the player thoughtfully examined his options and decided that signing with Luton was best for the next phase of his career.
Mengi has worked hard to get ready for a move this summer, according to club insiders, and they wish him well as he departs.
Before United’s preseason began, Mengi worked out with fitness trainers to get himself in top physical shape.
The academy graduate was scheduled to move on loan during the January transfer window, but his departure was derailed after he suffered an injury versus Real Betis at a warm-weather training camp in December.
Mengi made his senior debut under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in August 2020 against LASK in the Europa League. Since then, he has spent time on loan with Derby County and Birmingham in the Championship.
