Mohamed Salah could reportedly leave Liverpool this week ahead of the transfer window deadline
According to reports, Mohamed Salah is ‘expected’ to depart Liverpool this week, just before the transfer deadline. The rumours of Saudi Arabia’s interest in acquiring Salah in the last hours of the transfer market prompted an emphatic response from Jurgen Klopp last week.
His exact words were, “We don’t have an offer, Mo Salah is still a Liverpool player, obviously for everything we do, he’s essential and will be.” It turns out to be empty. The answer, if there were anything, would be no.
When I have a problem, that’s when I start to think about it. There is currently zero information available. I’ve previously stated that the response, if there is anything, is going to be negаtive. This week, though, things could change, as Jan Aage Fjortoft claims Salah will “likely” be leaving the club. He shared his belief that Salah would soon be leaving Liverpool on X: “I understand it’s likely that Salah will leave Liverpool this week.”The Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad reportedly wants to sign Salah before the transfer deadline. According to reports, Al Nassr is prepared to provide Salah the same amount as Cristiano Ronaldo does currently.
The deadline, according to FIFA, is September 20, but the Saudi Arabia Football Federation claims it’s September 7. The transfer window in Saudi Arabia will close later than in most of Europe’s major leagues, which has managers from the Premier League expressing concern.
Manager Mikel Arteta of Arsenal recently observed, “It is a competitor now, I think we have to change that.”
