Brahim Diaz has reportedly been in more frequent contact with Morocco in recent weeks in an effort to persuade him to play for the Moroccan National Team, according to reports from Sergio Santos.

They anticipate receiving approval from Diaz of Real Madrid and Lamine Yamal of Barcelona, two players regarded as national football giants.

Additionally, they intend to sway their choice by using the nation’s bid to host the 2030 World Cup.

Diaz is a Spanish international at the moment.

In a friendly match against Lithuania in June 2021, Diaz already made his international debut for Spain. He even scored for La Roja that evening.

The 24-year-old still desires to play for Spain’s national team, according to Santos, and will not be selected to represent Morocco during the upcoming international break.

Morocco will call him once he gives the go-ahead after continuing to wait patiently. Diaz doesn’t want to make a hasty choice.

After spending three years on loan at AC Milan, Brahim Diaz headed back to Real Madrid in anticipation of the 2023–24 season in the hopes of helping the men in white gain greater notoriety. But his playing time has been quite meager thus far.

The 24-year-old had a brief nine-minute cameo in the 3-1 victory over Almeria but has started on the bench for all three of Los Blancos’ games so far this season.

In barely nine minutes on the field, Diaz accomplished two dribbles and won three duels, so his brief performance was not without action.

In the days to come, his condition can take a dramatic turn for the better. Vinicius Jr.’s injury will keep him out for six weeks, leaving Ancelotti shorthanded in the attacking area.

Diaz would be a strong option to take the place of the injured Brazilian, given his impressive cameo against Almeria.
