On August 25, Ronaldo’s impressive hat-trick led Al Nassr to a 5-0 victory against Al Fateh in the third round of the Saudi Pro League. This marked the runner-up’s first win of the current season after facing two defeats. Alongside Ronaldo, newcomer Sadio Mane contributed with two goals.

Following the match, Ronaldo remained in the gym for an additional workout. The gym’s camera footage revealed the 38-year-old striker dedicating himself to exercising his leg muscles alone. The video was subsequently shared on Twitter and quickly gained viral attention.

Ronaldo trained himself alone

An account purportedly belonging to an employee of Al Nassr Club posted along with the video, “Cristiano Ronaldo went to the gym alone after last night’s match when all the other players had left. His dedication is unparalleled.”

Commenting on the video, one individual noted, “At 38 years old, while most players have retired, Ronaldo is still at the gym striving to better himself and contribute to the club. There’s no other player like him in the history of the game.”

Another Twitter user, @Jensonxa, underlined Ronaldo’s influence, stating, “In Ronaldo’s world, we’re merely inhabitants.”

Someone else asserted, “It’s not a matter of debating who the best player is. At 38 years old, Ronaldo possesses everything. Coaches never bench him, even if he’s not scoring. It’s his mindset and determination. His heart has propelled him to where he stands today. Ronaldo is not only an inspiration in football but also an influential figure in real life.”

Ronaldo is renowned for his commitment to training and preserving his physique. Despite being 38 years old, he remains a pivotal player for both Al Nassr and the Portuguese national team. He holds numerous records, including all-time top international goalscorer and being the first player to score in five European Championships and five World Cups.

In January, Ronaldo signed a contract with Saudi club Al Nassr that extends until 2025, following his departure from Manchester United due to differences. He earns a substantial income of $200 million annually, encompassing salary, bonuses, and promotional expenses. In the latter part of the 2022-2023 season, CR7 netted 14 goals in 19 games; however, his team didn’t secure the championship title.

Nevertheless, on August 12, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United striker scored a double, propelling Al Nassr to a 2-1 victory over Al Hilal and clinching the Arab Club Champions Cup. This marked Ronaldo’s inaugural title since joining Saudi Arabia—the fifth country in which he’s played, having previously been in Portugal, England, Spain, and Italy.

Next on Ronaldo and Al Nassr’s agenda is a clash with Al Shabab in the fourth round on August 29. Presently positioned 10th with three points from three matches, they trail the leaders Al Ittihad and Al Ahli by six points.
