Casemiro: Actions speak louder than words

Jamie Carragher, a former player, believes MU will regret not signing a young defensive midfielder who can take Casemiro’s place for a longer period of time.

The summer transfer window of 2023 stands out due to the high price that the large fog teams paid to sign the defensive anchor midfielder “No. 6.”

MU is not the only one of them because they spent £ 60 million for Casemiro last year—a player who has five Champions League titles with Real Madrid.

Jamie Carragher thinks Casemiro is not worth the money.

However, Jamie Carragher said that coach Ten Hag and MU executives panicked and bought Casemiro when the Frenkie de Jong case was dismissed.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea have invested in professionals who can successfully fill the number 6 position for the ensuing six to seven years.

I’ve never regarded Casemiro as a wise financial decision. No one contests the talent of the Royal team’s players, who have always reached the top.

Casemiro is unable to meet all the requirements due to the significant number of money that MU has invested in him and the fact that he is nearing the end of his playing days.

A last-minute buy, Casemiro. An aging player signed a pen with a sizable pay at the time to appease the irate Red Devils supporters.

Over the next two years, MU will have to spend a lot more money on a new defensive midfielder to replace Casemiro.

Recently, Coach Ten Hag swore to persuade Sofyan Amabat to lessen Casemiro’s workload. However, they are having problems employing due to financial fair play limitations.
