EVEN AN INJURED SHOHEI OHTANI HιTS WITH ENOUGH POWER TO BRҽAK STADIUM BILLBOARDS

Shohei Ohtani, a star for the Los Angeles Angels, will not be pitching for the remainder of the season, but he is hitting with ferocity.

Saturday night, the Angels were visiting the New York Mets. Ohtani’s first plate appearance of the evening occurred in the top of the first inning. He reached a 2-1 count before grabbing the next pitch from Mets right-hander Carlos Carrasco.

This ball could have been a home run if he had struck it slightly more to the left. Instead, the ball went out of bounds and struck an LED billboard advertising Coors Light.

Immediately, the light panel he smashed becomes dark.

Ohtani ultimately doubled later in the same at-bat.

The people at Coors Light were presumably quite pleased with the Angels star’s act of vandalism because it gave their bееr a little more airtime on television.

Now, the residents of Citi Field? Despite not being quite as amused, they still had a decent enough sense of humor to enjoy themselves.

Ohtani should receive more than enough money during the offseason to repair that billboard and more.

Considering the uncertainty surrounding his future as a dominant starting pitcher, there are doubts as to how much money he will lose out on due to his UCL ιnjury.

In any case, there is no doubt that Shohei Ohtani can still strike. In addition to the double he struck in his first at-bat, he later added a triple to his night’s total.
