The 2006 V8 Supercars Champion and two-time Bathurst victor Kelly said there had been a tremendous amount of interest in the new vehicle.

While I’m sure that the fans will be thrilled to see the Altima in person for the first time, there’s no denying that I was the person who was most thrilled to hear this news confirmed. From now through Sunday at 11:10 a.m., the Nissan Altima V8 Supercar will be on exhibit in the V8 Supercar pit pavilion.

Ford has confirmed that the Ford Performance Racing (FPR) COTF Falcon will also attend the event, not to be outdone.

We’ve been watching the new Nissan take shape in the various areas of our team workshop all year, and I’ve been itching to get my first drive of it. It will be a tremendous buzz to have the opportunity to operate the Altima V8 Supercar in front of spectators at the Sydney Olympic Park street circuit.
