England’s Manchester, on August 22, 2023, Erling Haaland of Manchester City has been named as Midea’s official global brand ambassador. Midea is one of the top and biggest manufacturers of home appliances worldwide.
The excellent cooperation between Midea and Manchester City, which started in January 2020 and was most recently extended in May of this year, has now been furthered with today’s announcement. Millions of fans around the world have been involved in the partnership’s award-winning activations so far.
Midea and Manchester City have today released a video campaign to mark Erling’s appointment as an official brand ambassador. The video illustrates how Erling uses Midea products in a peaceful home setting to find balance and the necessary “power” for his second home, the Etihad Stadium.
In order to link Erling’s fan base with Midea customers and football lovers worldwide, the top home appliance brand will continue to work with City’s triple champion in the coming seasons. This will be done through a variety of content campaigns, as well as unique merchandise giveaways and other digital activities.
