Update: Man Utd eventually agrees to a contract and settles fees to secure a £29 million signing

All summer long, Manchester United have been connected to Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat, and they have now agreed on a signing fee.

Old Trafford

90 minutes claims that Manchester United and the midfield player have personally agreed to the conditions of a deal. In addition, they have tentatively agreed to pay Fiorentina £29 million to ensure the player’s signing.

Amrabat has been wishing to leave Florence for some time, and the CEO of Viola has made it clear that disgruntled players can leave the team.

He did not even play a minute in Fiorentina’s first Serie A match, and it seems likely that he will remain on the bench until the transfer window closes or he is sold.

According to 90 Minutes, Manchester United’s biggest problem is that they need to sell before they can finalize the 27-year-old playmaker’s signing.

They have not been able to sell Van van Beek to Sociedad as of yet, and they turned down a £30 million bid for Scott McTominay from West Ham.

To be fair, Ten Hag ought to give Moyes a call and agree to McTominay’s departure. He hasn’t played much this season and will only be a reserve if he stays through the summer.

Our biggest playmaker, Casemiro, struggled in the middle of the pitch as Spurs easily defeated United over the weekend.

We therefore need a reliable player like Amrabat, who excelled at the FIFA World Cup last year, to improve the DM position.

Do you think Manchester United should accept McTominay’s £30 million transfer in exchange for the Atlas Lions star’s £29 million signing?
