The All-Star should reduce his travel time by at least an hour!
For the guy who grew up in Orange County, not far from Dodger Stadium, 5 miles may sometimes mean an extra 30 minutes on the 5 highway. Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman is reportedly purchasing a property closer to his job at Chavez Ravine in order to reduce his daily commute.
The $7.8 million mansion for Freddie, Chelsea, and their three sons was revealed by Dirt.com.
The four-bedroom, six-bathroom, two-story Studio City residence was completed in 2022 and sits on nearly a quarter-acre property. It has a large kitchen with all of the latest amenities, as well as living space, a pool, and a pool house.

During spring training, Freeman told the Los Angeles Times that he was searching for a property closer to Dodger Stadium to cut his 90-minute drive from Corona del Mar. With the new house cutting 40 miles off the commute, he should save at least an hour each way when the Dodgers come to town.
