Betts, now 30 years old, posted an Instagram video of the touching exchange between himself and the Los Angeles Laker, then 38 years old.

“When the King tips his crown.. you do the dаmn thing twice ,” he said as the post’s caption. As for you, “right back at ya @kingjames.”

On his Instagram Story, the NBA great thanked the Dodgers for their double-homer game by posting a clip of his conversation with Mookie Betts.

Respect and adulation, my brother!! James added a caption to the clip and a slew of fire emojis to the top.

In an interview with SportsNet LA after the game, Betts gushed about having James in the stands, calling it “suρer cool,” and noting that he always waves at James when the two are at Lakers games.

He stated, “Game recognize game,” throughout the interview. For him, I felt the need to put up a good performance.

Even before Betts’ outstanding game, James’ bobblehead night made it a memorable evening at Dodger Stadium.

The King posted a photo of his bobble head to his Story, describing it as “Bobble head night at the park.” The bobble head was decked up in a purple crown and a special Dodgers basketball jersey.

James posted a photo with Dodgers President and CEO Stan Kasten, who donated $100,000 to the I PROMISE Program run by the LeBron James Family Foundation, after the game.

James took his sons LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., 18, and Bryce Maximus, 16, to the bobblehead night game.

The NBA star posted a humorous Boomerang selfie of the group to his Instagram Story.

Less than a month had passed since Bronny’s heart collapse at a USC basketball practice before the family went on their outing.

According to PEOPLE’s source, “Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest.” This was reported by a family spokesperson on July 25.

Further, “medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital,” the release said. He is no longer in critical care because his condition has stabilized. The James family requests privacy at this time, and we will provide updates as they become available.

At the end, it said, “LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

The young basketball player was released from the hospital a few days after being admitted for treatment.

Bronny’s first public appearance after his release from the hospital occurred on July 29 at an Italian restaurant in Santa Monica, California, where he was joined by his father, mother, and two younger brothers, Bryce, 10, and Zhuri, 8.
