According to rumors, Manchester United will have to fight to keep Raphael Varane due to interest from Saudi Arabia.
The center-back is a crucial member of Erik ten Hag’s side and one of the first names to appear on the roster.
However, Varane’s France teammates Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante have reportedly tried to entice him to the Gulf state, so United run the risk of losing him.
Varane’s agents have apparently spoken with Al-Ittihad about a transfer, while Marquinhos, the captain of Paris Saint-Germain, has also been mentioned.
Varane, with the Red Devils back in the Champions League, is believed to be eager to play in Europe for at least one more season.
His Old Trafford contract, which runs through 2026, pays the Frenchman an estimated £340,000 per week.
