Lonzo Ball spills on just how crаzy hype was around him at Chino Hills in high school
Lonzo Ball’s path to the NBA, to put it mildly, was unconventional.
Ball recently appeared on “From the Point,” a podcast hosted by NBA point player Trae Young, where the two talked about Ball’s crаzy year in the national limelight while he was a senior at Chino Hills High School in California.”I just felt like I was lightyears better than everybody,” Ball added. As an example, “I just felt like high school was already too easy for me.”
After taking the country by storm with viral highlights, interviews, and even a reality series a few years ago under the tutelage of their father Lavar and his oversized personality, no basketball fan could quickly forget the Ball brothers. The reality that Lonzo Ball, like his brothers LaMelo and Liangelo, was just a really, really excellent basketball player might have gone buried in all the hype.
Lonzo Ball, a native of Los Angeles, was selected highly in the 2017 NBA draft lottery after a single season at UCLA, where he impressed with his size and court sense.Ball’s NBA career has fallen short of the lofty goals set for him, mostly because of the difficult injuries he has had to overcome.
Ball tore his meniscus shortly after joining the Chicago Bulls in 2021, and he has not played basketball since then due to persistent pаin.
NBA fans can’t help but wax nostalgic about when Lonzo Ball and LaVar Ball first began dominating headlines at such tender ages.
