The FIBA World Cup is about to begin in Manila in a few of weeks. The very balanced U.S. team has been the subject of much anticipation.
The roster may not have as many A-listers as 1992’s “Dream Team” or even 2004’s “Redeem Team” had. Many supporters, though, have come to appreciate the team’s efforts under the leadership of Jalen Brunson and Jaren Jackson Jr. Austin Reaves is the most lauded person in history. Kyle Kuzma, once of the Los Angeles Lakers, took note.
In their training for the FIBA World Cup, the United States team completely dominated Spain. Jalen Brunson had a perfect game from the field in the Malaga encounter. The New York Knicks superstar finished with 22 points to lead his club against the Spanish opposition. The Lakers player scored 11 points, tied with Brandon Ingram and Anthony Edwards for the team high.
Kyle Kuzma was spotted in the stands. He was in awe of Austin Reaves’s development as a player. The Wizards player from Washingtоn took to Twitter to express his awe.
Up until the last minutes of the fourth quarter, the score was relatively close. Spain was having a particularly rough patch around this time. The situation began to boil up as Steve Kerr and company took advantage of it. The Americans eventually won with a final score of 98–88.
This group has a bright future as they strive for the gold. Do you think they’ll be able to bring it back?
