Featured Image Credit: Getty The 31-year-old is set to pen a two-year contract with the Saudi Arabian side, worth a staggering €160 million (£138 million). That’s according to French outlet L’Equipe, who claim PSG and Al Hilal must now agree on the terms of the transfer before the deal is completed. Further reports claim a fee of €90 million (£78 million) is close to being agreed. The Brazilian has been in Paris since 2017 following his world-record £198 million transfer from Barcelona. But it appears his time in France is coming to an end, with the superstar forward set to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Riyad Mahrez in leaving Europe for the Middle East. Neymar is not thought to be a key player under head coach Luis Enrique as he builds a new side. The French giants have been open to selling him in order to focus on building a younger team. Al Hilal’s pursuit of Neymar comes after they failed in their attempt to sign Kylian Mbappe after tabling a monstrous £259 million bid.Neymar on the bench during pre-season. Though the potential transfer of Neymar will be their biggest arrival of the summer. The news of his possible PSG exit could mean Mbappe stays at the club, having been ‘reinstated’ into the first-team squad following ‘positive’ discussions.
