In preparation for the 2023 FIBA World Cup, the United States blew over Puerto Rico, with Kevin Durant and Draymond Green sitting on the right bench.

The United States cruised to a 117-74 victory behind the combined efforts of Anthony Edwards’ and Cam Johnson’s 15 points.

LeBron James, a teammate on the Los Angeles Lakers, tweeted, “AR you so COLD man!!!” after player Austin Reaves made his international debut in the game.

The United States of America defeated Puerto Rico 67-31 in the second half, led by Mikal Bridges’s 14 points. Seven different Americans scored in double figures.

Both Kevin Durant and Draymond Green, two of the NBA’s biggest stars, were there to watch the action.

American players Years Jackson Jr. (12 points), Jalen Brunson (11 points, 12 rebounds), Bobby Portis (11 points), and Brandon Ingram (11).

“We just play together,” Brunson explained. Everyone sets their egos aside to win, and we have a lot of me𝚗 with character. We’re still getting to know each other, but it bodes well. For everyone of them, that is the top concern.

The United States played the first of five exhibition games leading up to the World Cup, and it was the only one held stateside.

The squad will play Slovenia and Spain this weekend in Malaga, Spain, before flying to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for games against Greece and Germany the following weekend.

Austin Reaves, a player with the Los Angeles Lakers, was recognized by teammate LeBron James.

The United States of America will be hosting the tournament in Manila, with games taking place in the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia. The United States’ debut is on August 26 versus New Zealand.

After what was almost probably a defining offseason for both of them, Durant and Green had an exciting display on Monday.

After being traded to the Phoenix Suns in a blockbuster just before the NBA trade deadline, Durant watched as the franchise dealt point guard Chris Paul in exchange for three-time All-Star Bradley Beal.

Green, on the other hand, declined the $27.5 million player option in his contract and instead re-signed with the Golden State Warriors on a four-year, $100 million deal.
