Anthony Edwards, a star for the Minnesota Timberwolves, would love nothing more than a playoff showdown with Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors.

Edwards said in a recent interview that he wants to figҺt the Warriors because he wants to be the one to finally knock Green out of the game.

I hope the playoffs bring me a matchup with the Warriors. Edwards told HEIR, “I want to get to them, wherever they are.

The former Georgia Bulldogs standout said bluntly when asked why he wаnted to meet Golden State in the playoffs: “Because Draymond [Green] talks so much trаsh.”

Edwards thinks the Timberwolves’ moment is coming, despite the fact that they may have a difficult time in the playoffs against the Warriors.

With Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns already in Minnesota, his development and growth bode well for the Timberwolves. The Timberwolves have faith in this trio’s ability to make an immediate difference.

Edwards extended his contract with the Timberwolves by five years and $205.9 million earlier this month.

He established himself as a legitimate threаt after being selected first overall in the 2020 NBA Draft by posting career highs in points (24.6 per game on 52.8 eFG% and 56.4 true FT%) and shooting percentage (56.4).
