LeBron James ‘kept telling diners how grateful he was’ to be at dinner with son Bronny, 18, just four days after his cardiac arrest in basketball practice

LeBron James, barely four days after his teammate Bronny, 18, suffered a cardiac arrest after basketball practice, expressed his gratitude to the staff and patrons of the Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi.

On Friday, LeBron and his family, including Bronny, were spotted for the first time since he fell unwell at a trendy restaurant.

The Lakers player left a few hours later with Bronny and his second kid Bryce, but he first arrived with just wife Savannah and their daughter Zhuri. Now, a source has told People that strangers at the restaurant approached the family to give their congratulations.

LeBron “kept expressing how grateful he is,” the insider was quoted as saying to People. After that terrifying week, seeing Bronny again was like a breath of fresh air. LeBron and his family are frequent visitors. That Bronny will get well was a universal prayer.

LeBron posted a video of Bronny playing the piano in his living room the next day, along with the caption “GRAND RISING!! The Lord is Awesome! You totally rock! Just like that! Don’t stop now!! You can count on us to be at your side the whole journey. On Monday, while practicing with the rest of the USC basketball team at the Galen Center, Bronny collapsed and was brought to the hospital.

The adolescent was first unstable and afterwards admitted to critical care. The hospital discharged him entirely on Thursday.

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in a statement released Thursday after Bronny’s release, credited the USC athletics medical team with saving his life after he had a sudden cardiac arrest.

“He arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center alert, with no signs of brain damage, and in a stable condition.

Mr. James was treated quickly by qualified personnel, and he has already been sent home to rest.

We are encouraged by his response, his tenacity, and the support he has received from his family and the community, and we hope he continues to improve as his workup continues.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, LeBron tweeted a statement in which he expressed gratitude to fans for their support messages to his family.

On Twitter, he expressed gratitude to “the countless people sending my family love and prayers.”

We get it, and I really appreciate it. Hopefully, you’re all doing fine. Our loved ones are all here with us, and we are all well and safe.

I’ll have more to say when the time is right, but for now, please know how much we appreciate your patience and loyalty. #JamesGang.’
