‘A-Rod’ Alex Rodriguez had a busy day on Wednesday in Minneapolis, Minnesota, attending several professional sporting events.
The former MLB star, who is 48 today, shared numerous photos on Instagram of himself spending time with his daughters Natasha, 18, and Ella, 15, while they were watching a WNBA game for the Minnesota Lynx and an MLB game for the Minnesota Twins, respectively.
First, A-Rod and his girls, who he shares custody of with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, went to the MLB game between the Minnesota Twins and the Seattle Mariners on July 26 at 1 o’clock Eastern Standard Time. Two images and a video from the baseball game, which was played at Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins, were included in the former World Series champion’s debut Instagram post.
Come on, @twins! Wonderful park! I adore Minnesota fans. We appreciate you hosting our family of twins; your planning was top notch in every way. Rodriguez wrote in the Instagram post’s caption. The first image from ARod’s Instagram post was of him encircling Natasha and Ella as the three of them sat down in a row of green chairs near the front of the stadium.
The former MLB player’s first Instagram post continued with a clip of him autographing baseballs for some admirers with a black sharpie.
A screenshot of a tweet that read, “Alex Rodriguez just got a big applause at Target Field,” was the final piece of content. Never imagined that would occur.
Sadly, the Twins fell to the Mariners 8-7 in the game. The Twins will play the Kansas City Royals in their next game on July 28 at Kauffmann Stadium, the home field of the Royals.
A-Rod, Ella, and Natasha left the MLB game and headed to Target Center for the WNBA game between the Minnesota Lynx and the Washington Mystics, which started at eight that evening at Eastern Pacific Time. The Lynx and the Minnesota Timberwolves of the NBA both call Target Center their home arena.
A-Rod posted a video of himself delivering high fives to Lynx players and club officials at the conclusion of their 97-92 victory in his second Instagram post on July 27.
And the @minnesotalynx win the championship! Rodriguez came up with the caption.
On his Instagram stories, the former MLB star also posted photos and videos from the Lynx game.

At Target Center, he was seated courtside with Ella, Natasha, and his girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro in the first Instagram story.
The 48-year-old afterwards uploaded a picture of himself being questioned by the television crew before the game.
A video of Natasha and Ella dancing while being displayed on the jumbotron was the penultimate Instagram story.
A-Rod had a 22-year MLB career but never played for the Minnesota Twins, although he has strong ties to Minneapolis as a part-owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx since 2021.
According to information from earlier this year, A-Rod and his business partner Marc Lore now hold a 40% stake in the Timberwolves franchise and plan to control the majority of both teams by the year 2024.
