Lori Schacter of Illustrated Properties put the house on the market for the first time in November. The pro pitcher was managed by Holly Meyer Lucas of Compass.

The property is on Commodore Island, sits on more than half an acre, and has 325 feet of intracoastal views that are secured by a barrier island.

“Build your own compound or renovate,” the ad said.

There is room for a big boat to dock. Residents can also join the Admirals Cove Premier Club, which has 45 holes of golf, a tennis center, a yacht club, a kids’ program, five restaurants, a harbor, and a kids’ program.

The house also had room for a separate guest house, but it’s not clear if Scherzer will keep that building or not. Scherzer, who is 38 years old, and his wife Erica also own another waterfront home on the same street. They paid $9.8 million for it in 2020.

Together, S The Post was the first to report that Scherzer bought a $5 million home on Long Island after being traded to the Mets.

Scherzer and the Mets broke a record when they gave him a $43 million-a-year deal more than a year ago.
