At the age of 24, Trae Young decided to get married to Shelby Miller, his longtime girlfriend. As a result, he is now legally wed.

The couple, who met in 2017 while attending the University of Oklahoma, has been together since then. They have a one-year-old kid. The pair is said to be expecting a girl, and Miller is now expecting her second child.

Joel Embiid and Young are the latest NBA players to tie the knot during the current offseason. Embiid did the same earlier in the summer. Even though the bride and groom were curiously attired in all white, Trae Young’s wedding was a memorable occasion for visitors.

 

Social media was ablaze with images and videos from the Bahamas-based event, particularly the after-party. Even their son, Tydus, was dressed in white for the event. Their engagement has been a lengthy one; Young proposed back in December of 2021. This marriage effectively marks the end of an outstanding two years for the Atlanta Hawks player.

He married last year, in addition to agreeing to a five-year, $215 million deal extension with the Hawks.

Gilbert Arenas recently made fun of Austin Reaves for leaving Allen Iverson off of his list of the top 5 GOAT players. LeBron James was immediately informed by Arenas that he needed to examine Reaves for drᴜg use after his list. With Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, and James Harden among his top 5 GOATs, Austin Reaves added Brandon Roy to round out his list at number 5, which therefore activated Arenas. “@kingjames can y’all drᴜg test @austinreaves12 PLS…this man didn’t say (IVERSON) but roy and the only person we call roy is (Roy f gatorade drinking on the bench ass HIBBERT) don’t confuse him with B-ROY,” Arenas wrote on the Instagram post that showed a side-by-side photo of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. Mr. Natural, also known as Mr. Smooth and #MrROY Every time there is a joke or a snub from player to player, there is a reaction from the fans, and this time it was no exception; shortly after, fans started flooding in comments. If Austin makes another outburst like that, he will be traded to the sister team (Clippers). Arenas made it plain that he had nothing against Brandon Roy, despite the fαct that Reaves did not include Allen Iverson on his list of the top 5 GOATs, even if there was no criticism directed at Roy.

Iverson was left off the list even after Reaves immediately responded in the Instagram post “I said B-Roy” to clarify that he meant Brandon Roy and not Roy Hibbert.
